Meet Our Team

Charles J. Noble, III started his career in financial services in 1980 in downtown New Haven.  From the start he envisioned the creation of a team brought together by a common goal - providing comprehensive financial advice by understanding client's resources and needs far beyond just their investable assets.  His vision came to fruition when he brought together the individuals that make up his team today.  After years of working together they have established trust and an unwavering commitment to their clients and to the commununities in which they work and live.

With over thirty years managing investments for clients, Charles has built his business around providing comprehensive wealth management and portfolio solutions for institutional and affluent clients.  Charles began his career with Moseley, Hallgarten, Estabrook & Weeden, spent 19 years with Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. and then after a short stint with Stephens, Inc., joined Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC in 2010.  He holds his FINRA Series 7,9,10,63,65, Life and Health licenses and is certified with the Partnership for Long Term Care.  He received a B.S. in Finance from the University of New Haven and completed the SIA Course of Study at the Wharton School of Business.  He has served as an officer or director on numerous profit and non-profit boards through the years.  He currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Quinnipiack Club (formerly serving as President), is Vice-President of the Hartland Pond Corporation, a Board member of Ecochlor, Inc., a company that specializes in proprietary ballast water treatment to safely and economically eliminate the worldwide transfer of aquatic invasive species.  Charles is also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.

Melanie has worked in the financial services industry for almost thirty years.  Her focus is providing wealth management services including financial planning, asset allocation analysis, education planning and retirement income planning, along with tax and estate planning in conjunction with client's tax and legal advisors.  She has held her Certified Financial Planning designation since 1991 and holds her FINRA Series 7 and 66 and Life and Health licenses.  Melanie received a B.S. in Marketing/Management from Bentley University, an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Bridgeport and a Retirement Income Planning Certificate from Wharton School of Business.  She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and is the current Treasurer for the Benevolence Committee of Spring Glen Church.

Dana has been working with Charles for 14 years, with prior experience in the legal profession.  Dana manages client relationships and is the key contact for trusts and estates. In addition Dana coordinates client communications and operational assistance and research for special situations.  She holds her FINRA Series 7 license and received a B.A. in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University.  Dana is a member of the PTA at two schools and is involved with many school related activities.

Having started his career as an intern with Charles over 13 years ago, Brian is a consultant for brokerage accounts, 529 Plans, IRA services such as RMDs, and advisor on retirement plans for small businesses.  He obtained his designation as a Certified Financial Planner in 2007 and holds his FINRA Series 7,63,65 and Life and Health licenses.  Brian received a B.S. in Finance from Central Connecticut State University.  He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Soup Kitchen and on the Board of Governors of the Quinnipiack Club.

Alexandra assists in portfolio construction and research, manages the team's Defined Portfolio program and the trading platform for managed accounts, as well as coordinates the operational procedures for the branch.  She has been in the investment industry for nine years, having previously worked with institutional and foreign accounts in New York City.  Alexandra is fluent in Spanish, holds her FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and received a B.S. in Finance from Fordham University.  She volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and is an active member of her parish.

Having joined the team in 2010, Daria provides support for the team and operational assistance for clients, along with managing the reception area.  Daria holds her FINRA Series 7 license and received a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut.  She is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and volunteered as an elementary after-school teacher for several years.  Daria attended Ukrainian Parochial School when she was growing up.
